The students started this project off with a white paper plate.

The first step was to sponge paint the plate with different shades of green. Students had the opportunity to learn about colour mixing, shades, and texture.

The next step was to cut the plate into 3 sections. Students worked on their cutting skills and looked at the different sizes of the pieces.

 

 

 

After that it was time to assemble. Using just the right amount of glue is definitely a skill that we are learning!

 

 

 

Students added a star, trunk, snow, and sparkle!
