We began this activity with a reading of the book, “A Poppy Is To Remember” and a discussion around the symbols of Remembrance Day.

 

 

Then students began to create!

First, painting a background: 

 

Then, making crepe paper poppies.

 

 

 

 

The final product is beautiful!
