This week we have been working on numbers to 10.  Students were introduced to the concept of a numberline, worked to count the letters in their names and place them on the numberline, and used sticky notes to identify the numerals.  We have also been exploring the concepts of more, same, less.  We’ll be working on these math ideas for a while.

Parents:  Look for opportunities to count objects at home and to point out numerals when you are out and about.  It’s important for students to connect what we are doing in the classroom with their daily lives.
