I see a robber,a flock of geese a robot,musicians and a dog playing the piano.I wonder why a frog is on the fountain?I wonder if the robot is haunting the people?I wonder where the flock of geese is going?I wonder what the robber is stealing?I wonder if the jack’o lantern is alive?The relation to math is if you wanted to know how many people are there then you have to divide.Then count up the groups and add all them up.Another connection is if you were making a jack’o lantern you have to use geometry.If you were making treats you have to count how much change the person gets back.
Cameron, your questions are thought provoking! Now, when you talk about the math in the picture you need to explain more. How would you use geometry when making a jack o’lantern? What number sentences could you make from things in the picture?
say 50 in each group and there are 6 groups , there would be 300 people like 6 x 50=300.With the jack’o lantern you have to carve the face .So if a pumpkin pie was 10$ and a person payed 27$ , they would get 17 dollars back.
