Today was a whirlwind of a day! This was Diorama Day in room 102!
The project started last week as we explored the work of various diorama artists. Lyn Moreno and Shannon are 2 artists who use cut paper to create their dioramas. Artist from Iraq, Alamedy Diorama creates fantastic highly realistic miniature worlds using only recycled materials.
Then we drew some basic plans of the dioramas we wanted to create. Then, today was the big day of creation. We were artists, engineers, mathematicians, and art gallery curators as we worked through the process of turning plans and dreams into reality and then showcasing our work for other classes.

Brett asked me if I wanted to do it with him.I was creative to do it.I like nyan cat because hes colourful .making the chocolate house because it was falling down.Hot gluing because it was flooding.Painting the flip flop because it was de -colouring .I would hot glue the nyan cat down. Paint the bottom of the box.Use less hot glue because it was all gooey .
I chose art and a backyard because I think art and a butiful
back yard go good together two challenges I faced are I got burned by a hot glue gun and it hurt the challenge in that was it was hard to finish. And making the marker equil on the sides of the paintings.Something I would change the easle insted of a plastic tube I would use wood.
I chose my diorama to be in a laundry room. because our class looked on ms. Hackett’s smart bored. and I saw a laundry room. on it and I thought it was cool. so the challenges are getting all the stuff together. and knowing how to know. what the seen to be.
I choose a farm because my Mom like’s the farm why I say my Mom because it is for my Mom. One chlleges I had was keeping the hars to stand up and doing the hot glow gun it was hot! I think that the hars wouldn’t stand up because it was to hevy.I think that I will do differently in my diorama is to put the fens up.
Diorama mania 1. I love farms so I chose to do a farm. A wheat farm with a combine in the feld. 2. One challenge I faced was getting the combine to stand up because of the dirt. 2. Next time I will add wheat in the storage bin.

I chose art for my theme because I love art and I thouaht it was a good ida. The two challenges I faced were the candise did not work and the gril did not stand up with glue. Next time we make dioramas I will make brown plaster saen.
I choose a winter theme because it is almost winter.
The hartist part was the fens and the flore the paper was kept undoing.
Next time I will not add a sandbox because it is not in the winter.
I felt happy when I finisht my diarama.
Well I live beside a farm that is why I piced that sen.
I face a challenges when lily broke my cow and I couldent fix my coy.
I wood look for more materials for my diorama.
This is how I chose my theme. I remembered when we read that book called the little brown bear.
One of my challenges I faced was making that bear in my diorama another challenge I faced was making the trees in my diorama. It was hard to cut out my bear because I dident know how to cut one out.
This is what I will do next time I will add more trees and I will add more boshes in my diorama next time.
I chose it because i love halowen and scary stuff .
i had a seriest problem with the gogels and water wing it was hard .
next time i’l put cross and halk’s in it.
DIORAMA MANIA!!!!
My diorama is based on the game Nian-cat.I chose
Nain-cat because my sister likes Nian-cat so I made her it for Christmas. When I made NIan-cat I dint have the right plaster seen. Next time I would use different plaster seen so it would look more like Nian-cat
I choose the Christmas theme because it is close to Christmas. I Had trouble doing my elf riding a motorcycle and my scert cam I Would Chang and put a candy cane With my elf to hold the candy cane .
I made a Christmas theme for my mom’s gift.My challenges were when I was making Santa his parts were falling off and his body was ducking so he would fall.I used tishou nales would and garbig and plaster seen . Next time I will do a video game diorama.
I decided to pick a funny top pick with my friend. My challenge
was small spaces and not enough matierls and not enough time. So I can’t finish it next time I will make a new top pick.
It is hard to build a diorama because you need right thing for your diorama to make it really good so you get more people to come to you.
