We’ve all had a gloriously warm and sunny summer! I spent lots of time reading, swimming, and playing with my family. I trust that all of you had some joyful moments with family and friends, too!
Now it’s time to gear up for another fun-filled learning adventure here at Wyevale. Here are a few words to keep in mind.
An important part of the writing process is planning. After our first attempts at writing a procedure we realized just how important a plan is. Now we are all working on writing our own procedures. All of us are experts at something! Here’s the plan we wrote together as a class.
Hello Parents! I am so pleased to have the privilege of teaching your children this year! By completing the following form you will help me get to know your child and stay in contact with you regularly. Thanks!

Welcome to the 2014 – 2015 school year! This blog is currently in transition from a place for grade threes to come together in a virtual world to a virtual learning place for the Junior/Intermediate Learning Centre at Wyevale Central Public School. As we get to know each other pieces of the blog will change to suit our new personalities.
Parents/Visitors: We love to hear from you! Please take a few moments to respond to our posts. Your ideas, questions, and suggestions are important to us and help us to learn in amazing ways!!
Students: This is a new year for you with lots of changes! Think about what helped you the most in the Learning Centre and your regular classroom. Tell us about it!
We started our year off talking about what would make room 210 the ideal classroom. The students brainstormed their ideas, we talked about our ideas in a community circle and then we agreed on some Community Agreements.
Once we established our classroom agreements we traced our hands, decorated them, and posted them around the bulletin board as a symbol that we have “made a deal” with each other.
Welcome back students and parents!
I trust that everyone enjoyed some warm holiday time over the summer! But now it’s back to the hustle and bustle of the school year and exra-curricular activities!
Our classroom is a busy place! We read, write, and calculate everyday. We think all day long! We play. We walk and we talk. Sometimes I’m exhausted just looking at our daily schedule and see all that we fit in each day!
Parents! Please take a few moments each day to ask your child about his/her day. There will be lots to tell!
Students! Please remind your parents/guardians to check your agenda each day, help you sort your word sudy words, and check out this blog!
