Tangrams

In math we have started Tangrams.Tangrams are a Acient Chinesse Puzzle. 1 set of Tangrams is 7 pieces. 2 big Triangles,2 small triangles,1 medium triange, 1 square and 1 Paralalagram. We were asked to make  a paralalagram with 3 pieces and then a rectangle with 3 pieces and then a triangle with 3 pieces and then a trapizoid with 3 pieces. After we had to make all those shapes with 5 pieces then all those shapes with 7 pieces! We tried and tried but we were so frazzeled we couldn’t think of how to do it! But we had a fun time trying with Tangrams! By: Kaitlynn.B and Carson

Maps!

Yesterday we were working on maps for Social Studies! But not an ordinary map. It was a map of a Camp named “Camp Alexander”. Some things we had to put on the map was a Flagpole,Firepit,Beach,Lodge and many more! This map was not so easy for me.Sometimes I didn’t know where to put things because we had to do certain things on the North side some things on the South side some things on the West side and somethings on the East side. Even though I didn’t get mine finished but it was  fun just reading about the camp!
