We have begun talking about Remembrance Day and what this day is all about.  Yesterday we read the poem, “In Flanders Fields” and began thinking about the questions we have.  The students have many!  Throughout the next week our goal is to answer as many as we can, the best we can.

We started with the symbol of the poppy and learned why it is a symbol of Remembrance Day and what the symbol stands for.
