Please visit our Page Of Walls. We are starting to use a new web tool- Walls. A wall is like a virtual bulletin board. We’ll be using walls to post our ideas and opinions about topics. We’ll also be using walls to post answers to questions. A wall makes it easy for us to see what everyone else is thinking!
We made crazy santa art!!! The first thing we did was the border. We used a ruler, and a pencil to make the border. The next step we had to out line the border but we couldn”t do the corners. The next step was to do up side down u’s then attach the u’s .The next step is to draw a rectangle in the middle top. Then we drew the nose, moustache and eyese. Next we drew the beard and the hat. Last we coloured it with oil pastels.

We first read this book last week and giggled many times as we read it. Then we discovered that we were learning to sing the song “The Twelve Days of Christmas” in music class. So we decided to try singing, “A Porcupine In A Pine Tree”. This was our first time using the Hovercam in our classroom to make a video. Click on the title below to view our video
At our school there is a holiday post offce. People write letters to each other. It is really fun . You can write anything you want to people. It comes once a year, near Christmas. We have learned how to write a real postcard and we learned about all the parts of a friendly letter. When we learned how to write a letter we used the Smartboard and the computer. There is a great link on our blog that helps you to write letters.

We have a little christmas elf in our classroom! His name is Ellex. The first day he was on the shelf. The second day he was on the chart stand and the third day he was on the smart baord projector.We do like our little christmas elf! I do hope he reports back good news to Santa. I wonder what he will do for the next few days? If you touch the elf he will lose h is magic so we aren’t touching him.
