Today we read the text: A View From Above. First we read it for enjoyment. Then we read it like a writer. We searched for words that the writer used to help the reader make pictures in his mind. We posted the words we found on a Wall. Check it out on our blog page, “A Page Of Walls”. We were then able to all see the words, read them, and talk about them together!
We are starting to use a new tool in our classroom-VoiceThreads. This is an exciting adventure for our class. We’ll be able to use it in a variety of subjects to respond to images, videos, pictures, questions and ideas both orally and in writing. It’s amazing that we’ll be able to listen and read eachother’s responses too! Students will be able to log in at home, too, and respond.

Please visit our Page Of Walls. We are starting to use a new web tool- Walls. A wall is like a virtual bulletin board. We’ll be using walls to post our ideas and opinions about topics. We’ll also be using walls to post answers to questions. A wall makes it easy for us to see what everyone else is thinking!
